SAD WORM CO.
In collaboration with graphic designer, Riley Savage, Sad Worm Co pins were designed to be sold at a local Cincinnati boutique, MiCa 12/v, as a part of an entrepreneurship class. We had to create a business plan, timeline, designs, and tech packs from scratch. Targeting the millennial market, our pins are exclusively designed and hand painted to wear as accessories to express the wearer’s individuality. With a short run of each design, hand painted techniques, and unique colorways, no two pins look alike. The pins were designed in Illustrator and laser cut on acrylic through the school’s Rapid Prototyping Center, spray painted with a base coat of white, and then hand painted. We focused on three different groupings of colorways: primary colors, desaturated tones, and pastels.
